• Custom or few items may require additional processing time, which will be communicated during purchase.


3. Delivery Times


Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout. While we strive to meet estimated delivery timelines, delays can occur due to customs, weather, or carrier issues. HandmadeJewels.in is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

  • For deliveries in India - 2-6 business days
  • For Deliveries in the USA - 10-14 Business Days (Standard Delivery)
  • For deliveries to the rest of the world - 10-19 Business Days.


4. Shipping Restrictions


While we ship to most locations worldwide, we may cancel orders if:

• The destination country is under international sanctions or restrictions.

• The shipping address is unserviceable by our carriers.


In such cases, we will promptly notify you and issue a full refund to your original payment method.


5. Customs Duties and Import Taxes


For international orders:

• Customs duties, taxes, or additional fees are the responsibility of the buyer/consignee.

• These charges are not included in the shipping cost and vary based on the destination country’s import policies.

• Please check your country’s customs regulations before placing an order to understand potential additional costs.

 

6. Cancellation Policy:

Reach us out within 12 hours of making an order to cancel the same. Once shipped, it cannot be canceled.


Duty-Free Allowances for Major Countries


Here are the general duty-free thresholds for some major countries (subject to change based on local regulations):

• United States: No duties for goods valued up to $800.

• European Union (EU): No duties for goods valued up to €150 (import VAT still applies for most shipments).

• United Kingdom: No duties for gifts valued up to £39 or commercial items up to £135 (VAT may apply).

• Australia: No duties or taxes for goods valued up to AUD 1,000.

• Canada: No duties for goods valued up to CAD 20 (some exceptions apply).


Buyers are encouraged to confirm these limits with local customs authorities as they can vary.
